This backyard country wedding was personal, classic, and WARM. I was very picky on the weddings that I took this year.  It is tough to say no, but I love taking on weddings that have a wonderful story and include people that I know and want to support in their marriage. Kari and Joe were no exception.  I had the pleasure of videoing Kari’s brother’s wedding last year and have known her for years through church and friends.

It was so difficult for me to narrow it down to just these photos for a demo. Sorry for the overload, but it was such a neat evening!  We were so thankful that the 90 degree day ended up cooling down a bit right before the ceremony and created a wonderful temperature to hang out during the reception.

The other thing that was really special about tonight was getting to see the bond between Kari and Joe’s children.  Kari’s vows to Joe’s kids was truly special and a memory that I will not soon forget.  Can’t wait to see your family grow in love in the coming years!
