Please forgive me.  It’s been 2 months since my last blog post.  This means it’s also been 2 months since my last wedding AND 2 months since I broke my 2nd metatarsal in my poor left foot.  So, yes, this wedding was done in a boot.  Hoping I get back to my normal self soon!

However, what a fantastic wedding! I told the bride, Kelly, if I could go back in time and redo my wedding to my hubby of 14 years (next month!), this was my dream wedding. Airplane hangars, lighting was incredible, and her dresses were my favorite color. You did good, chica!

I am always grateful that clients take a leap of faith with me and hope for magic to unfold in their photos and video and these guys did just that.  They were amazingly calm, cool, and collected.  Even when a fire broke out during their first dance, they barely batted an eye.  Ok – it was just a little fire at the kid’s table due to some coloring pages and candles, but still they took everything in stride!

I love that I knew the majority of the family through their mom (who is one of my supervisors at school/work) and have seen them grow up on Facebook the last couple years.  I was just so blessed to be a part of this day and get to do it with my best friend in the biz, Ms. Kellene of Bella Lucia Photography.
