This sleepy fall newborn session was so special!  Lauren and I used to work in YoungLife together and when she contacted me and told me she wanted to do newborn photos, I was ECSTATIC! I have worked so hard on getting better at my newborn photography this past year and I feel like this session was a good indication of that.  I love that momma still has one of these pictures as her cover photo on FB 4 months after our session!

Practice, practice, practice and watching countless hours of the pros posing babies to see what I was doing wrong.  I always feel there is more room to grow, but this momma followed my “Newborn Guide” so wonderfully that Baby Zeke slept like a champ and allowed me to do quite a few poses before he wanted to wake up for good.

I highly stress that parents read the newborn guide ahead of your session so that you will know exactly what to expect.  I try to put everything that always comes up as an FAQ as well as a couple of my personal preferences as well.  It will make for a fabulous experience for everyone!!!
