Every year, our family gets together to enjoy baking cookies and decorating them. I try to take 5 minutes or so to document the only time that our kids decide to walk over and take interest in what us 3 adult women are doing.  Otherwise, they are running around the house yelling like crazy or watching…

This family is always so flexible when it comes to weather and locations. When we ran into a major rainstorm (thanks PNW) and couldn’t reschedule, I rented a downtown urban studio that was larger than my newborn studio so that we could get their photos done while daddy was off work. Every fall, I love a good session at an Evergreen Christmas Tree Farm. I think this is something that we have in abundance here in the Northwest and I love everything they represent. Also, this family was great!  They got all the photos they wanted AND MORE!  And they knocked it out of the park…

I would love to do these Pajama mini sessions every year. I get a lot of comments like “I don’t think my children will behave for a mini session.”  Or “How could we possibly get any good photos in 20 minutes?”  This is how, friends!  This momma thought so, too.  She tells me that it…

Ever wonder what a model call is like?  Sometimes I have new props or want to see what a new color photographs like. So, I will ask for a model to try it out on.  This newborn was the perfect little one this time around. I think we got all of these shots in about 20…

Not many seniors can make such a vintage floral headpiece. From athletics to style, this girl had it in spades.
